Host/Hostess – K38 Baja Grill (Raleigh, NC)

K38 Baja Grill has been serving fresh, vibrant, Baja-style Mexican food and hand-crafted margaritas for over 30 years. We’re known for our lively atmosphere, scratch-made flavors, and genuine hospitality. As we open our newest location at Seaboard Station in Raleigh, we’re looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our front-of-house team.

Position Summary:

As a Host/Hostess, you are the first and last impression for our guests. You’ll greet each guest with a warm welcome, manage reservations and waitlists, and help ensure smooth seating flow throughout the restaurant. If you’re energetic, guest-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity to grow with our team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude

• Manage waitlists and reservations through our host system

• Answer phones and assist guests with inquiries

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area

• Communicate effectively with servers and managers to ensure smooth service flow

• Provide an excellent guest experience from arrival to departure

Qualifications:

• Previous host/hostess or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to remain positive and professional in a busy environment

• A team-player attitude and willingness to learn

• Must be reliable and punctual
